Born in Russia, Kira Parfeevets began studying music at the school of Arts of Stary Oskol, completing them at the Higher National Academy of Music in Minsk, where she obtained several first prizes (piano, chamber music, accompaniment, pedagogy), as well as a degree in music.
From 1997 to 2001, she worked as a coach in the Centre de Formation Lyrique of the National Opera of Paris, where she took part in various productions and worked with many artists of international fame.
Since that time, she received invitations to work with different theatres as a pianist and as a coach for french, italian and russian repertoire. Kira Parfeevets collaborated with opera companies such as:
Capitole de Toulouse, Opera of Nice, Grand Theatre of Bordeaux, Festival of Aix-en-Provence, Festival Alfredo Kraus of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Atelier Jeunes Voix du Rhin, Opera-Theatre of Avignon, Festival Chorégies d’Orange, Opera of Monte Carlo, Opera National de Paris, Stanislavsky Moscow Music Theatre.
She has had the opportunity to work with famous conductors : G. Pretre, M. Plasson, K. Mazur, A. Zedda, K. Weise, M. W. Chung, P. Steinberg, E. Pido, H. Graf, R. Rizzi-Brignoli, J. Lopez-Cobos, Y. Sado. D. Jurowski and others.
Kira also has performed recitals with great artists like Inva Mula, Sonya Yoncheva, Roberto Alagna, Placido Domingo, Ruggero Raimondi in such places as the Salle Gaveau, the Museum of Orsay, the Amphitheatre of the Opera of Paris, Palazzo Farnese in Rome, the Theatre Massimo of Palermo, Festival of Dubrovnik, Lisinski Concert Hall in Zagreb, Auditorium Rainer III in Monte Carlo…
Recently, she carried out the translation of an opera-monodrama de Grigori Fried “The diary of Anne Frank” from russian to french, for the opera of Metz. The Premiere took place in May 2013 and received a great success.
Invited by Maestro Michel Plasson, Kira took part at the International Academy of French Music alongside Natalie Dessay, José Van Dam and Françoise Pollet, in June 2014.
